Notebook Reparing

This morning I rushed to MidValley Sony service centre for my VAOI notebook reparing. Last time when Elaine visited,the person in-charged mentioned that we can know the estimate reparing cost on the spot as long as within technicion's working hours 9am-5pm. However, today i go, the person in-charge said the estimation cannot be done on the spot. So,i just leave the notebook there and bring back a reparing cert. After that, I continue with the metrojaya member day shopping. I redeemed a lot of free gifts and vouchers.

At 5pm just now, I received a sms from Sony. In the sms, they informed me that the repairing cost is RM1,322. Wow, that is very high that i can never expect!! All the damaging is done when Elaine's hand bag snatched by 2 malays 2 weeks ago. Now, I dunno what shd i do to hv the money for the repairing. These few months, I nearly broke. My maybank account left RM10-30 every 1st week of the month after i withdraw my salary for all my expenses. I love my honey very much. I help her whole heartedly when she has financial problem. I try myself to give her satisfaction in life. May be I am not qualify yet to give her good living. Or may be her expectation of good living is too high.. I dunno..

I just received the estimation breakdown from Sony. The most expensive item is the LCD screen unit, cost RM1022. The LCD screen is just 1.5cm crack from down right side of the screen. Now, 1 thing is my mind thinking. Since it is not 'repairing', its changing the whole LCD screen, may be i shd not do it right now. I think i shd do it when the screen crack more. And then it charge me RM160 service charge. The person in-charge in the Sony service centre this morning said my notebook is still under warranty and no service/labour charge. This is what we call departmentation. The person in the front line will never sync with the person behind. What they say is just for temporary, when it goes to other department/people, thing start to change... Sad day for me..

Back to college learning environment

Few months ago,I decided to implement a POS system into dad's biz.. However,because of budget,timing and lacking of knowledge,it was on put on hold. Yesterday I downloaded a QuickBook POS system and try to use it for my dad biz. I was from IT background and do not have strong account and financial knowledge. I took up some time to learn it up and I found that the most difficult thing is to calc stock and record it into the system since no stock calculation has been done over so many years. Well,I think i have to take some more time to learn and familiarize myself with the POS system. It is not a complete POS system that I want but at least it provides me a learning kind of environment towards the POS system.

Just now I got the Adobe Illustrator from my friend. Well,this is more difficult than the POS system i guess. I need it to design my name card. It has to be done as soon as possible since the biz will reach the peak season next month. The name card need to be distributed to customers as an advertisement. I have to make it quick. I am not a design student and not from any desigining background. This will be another challenge for me.

Nowadays,I am facing all kinds challenges that not within my field. Well, this shd be what i expect from the day I quit IT field and enter biz/sales field. I like my job now as a salesperson,same as i like my part time job as a laptop promoter. I get more chances to interact with customers. Thanks my gf for giving my supports.. Laine,I love you!

Hang bag snatched

I just settled down a case of which my gf's hand bag got snatched. Very tired and feel sick. Few hours ago, she left my house and went to Connaught to buy breakfast. Then i got a call from her, she cried and said her hand bag got snatched. She has a lot of things in it. The 2 malay guys just stop the motor in front of her and snatched her hand bag. I accompany her to the police station to make a police reports, follow by calls to terminate credit card and ATM cards and so on. And then i found out that the Sony Ericsson bluetooth earpiece was in it,of which make me feel very upset. I like the bluetooth earpiece and hope i can hv 1 for myself, but now lost with the hand bag..haizz.. Well, thing happened and no point to think of it again.. I just hope that my gf can get her replacement on her IC,driving license and all her cards as soon as possible. Tmr i hv to report on her credit card lost to bank by submitting the police report,since i m the principle holder of her supplementary card. Today is a damm tired and unlucky day. Anyway, the lucky thing is nothing happened to my gf, she is fine but just get a shock by the incident. I hope that these person that snached my gf's hand bag will get their punishment and will not snatched others bag again. Althought not big sum of money lost,but some of the things inside cannot be replaced,which r more valuable that money...
